If you like "Military Grade", then this is the iPhone case for you. From the basic packaging, to the quality of all components, and the way they go together, this case loudly spells out great quality and thoughtful engineering, and for the money (under twenty dollars from Mychildrensstore.co.uk),there is nothing that comes even near it. If there is room for improvement, is the fact that a small "water-marks" may appear under the plastic shield every once in awhile.This however, is a minor issue compare to the great protection that this case offers to your iPhone. In my opinion, you will not go wrong with this case. It's durable, attractive and most of all very affordable thanks to Mychildrensstore.co.uk's great pricing. |

Saved me $599! |
My Otterbox Defender was on my phone when I was coaching ice hockey. One of our 10 year old players on the team shot a puck that hit off the post and hit my phone square in the back. Of course, this killed the phone, and I was sure I was buying a new 3GS at full price. However, since it was never out of the case, and had a separate screen protector even under that, my 3GS was pristine even at almost a year old. The tech was dumbfounded as to why it was not working, and even after taking it all apart, could not find any damage visible. Thus, I got a new one under Apple Care. Had I not had the Defender on it, I would have had noticeable damage and been buying a new phone.
The only negative about the Defender series are its clips. I am on Mychildrensstore.co.uk to buy my 4th clip / case at this point, because the others have all cracked after I caught the edge of the clip on something. That plastic joint is trash and needs to be reinforced with metal of some sort. |

Perfect for anyone who drops their phone all the time ! |
My 16 year old has a "dropsy" problem and constantly drops her phone ! I bought her an IPHONE for Christmas ( 2009 ) and she recently dropped it on a tile floor and it landed face down and the screen shattered. We went to the Apple Store and was told it would cost $199 to replace the phone. I asked if they carried any kind of safety cover so this would not happen again. The salesman laughed and told me to go on Mychildrensstore.co.uk.com and buy my Daughter an Otterbox. Never heard of it before he told me and we are now telling everyone we know about this wonderful, awesome, life saving product !! She has since dropped her phone dozens of times since we got this Otterbox and nothing has happened to the phone. It surrounds the entire phone and has a little lip around the screen to prevent it from being shattered in the event she drops it again face down ! I give this product five stars ( I would give it 100 stars if that was an option )

Good in every way except one |

So it's tough, water resistance, cheap, and the buttons are easily accessible. The only drawback is the air bubbles that you get in the screen. I've heard that this is solved by adding a transparent screen protector slip between the phone and case but I have yet to try it out. |
